Water Damage Repairs

A water damaged phone or tablet does not necessarily mean the end for your device.  We are experienced in repairing water damaged devices and typically have a 70% success rate in this area.

For the price of £15.00 we can test and diagnose your phone or tablet. This price includes our time to test and quote for your repair and return postage should the device be non repairable or you do not wish to proceed with a repair. If you do wish to go ahead with a repair quoted the £15.00 will be deducted off the cost of your repair.

When your mobile phone or tablet has got wet its very important not to try and charge it or turn it on as this will make the problems worse. As soon as water comes in contact with the electronics inside a device it starts to oxidize and corrode the components on your logic board. The sooner you can get the device to us after it has got wet then the more chance of recovery there is.

It’s impossible to give a guide price on water damage repairs because there are so many variables – at best you could be looking at a new battery and ultrasonic cleaning which would cost in the region of £50.00-£60.00. At worse your device will need a new battery, new screen, ultrasonic cleaning, new speaker, earpiece etc and this is when water damage repairs get expensive and it may be more economical to purchase a new device.
